Tomorrow, November 27th is #GivingTuesday. This year, Willow Wish is fundraising to underwrite at least twelve (12) $1500 gifts for Arizona families wishing for a birth center experience in 2019. Facebook and PayPal are matching donations on Facebook for a total of upto $7 million dollars.

"The problem isn’t that we don’t know how to make childbirth safer... “Women know what they want when it comes to labor and delivery, and it turns out the things they want (midwives, doulas, fewer unnecessary interventions and cesarean sections) are less expensive and produce better outcomes.” The problem is not that pregnant women are uneducated or uninformed; the problem is that those in charge aren’t listening to them."

Willow Wish is a scholarship fund seeking to make the birth center experience available to any family in Arizona who would choose a birth center setting, regardless of their ability to pay out-of-pocket. It is our belief that peaceful, evidence-based care should be an option for all.
With your help, we can make a difference for Arizona families who want O-U-T of the hospital system where women and babies are receiving sub-optimal maternity services when their care providers fail, or sometime refuse, to provide evidence-based care. Your donation makes a gift possible to those families who are wishing for a birth center experience with patient-centered care, and can't afford the out-of-pocket expense on their own.

**FINE PRINT ABOUT THE MATCH
- Facebook and PayPal will start matching donations at 8:00am ET (5:00am PT) on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. The matching offer will expire when $7 million in donations is reached or at 11:59pm PT on November 27.
- Donations will be matched dollar for dollar on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Matching is available for any eligible US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that can receive donations on Facebook.
- Donations up to $250k per nonprofit and $20k per donor are eligible to be matched.
