Willow Wish is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization.  We exist as a scholarship fund seeking to make the birth center experience available to any family in Arizona who would choose a birth center setting, regardless of their ability to pay out-of-pocket.

Willow Wish is a gift program seeking to make the birth center experience accessible to families in Arizona. By raising funds that are then directed to families, Willow Wish is removing the inability to pay as a barrier to high quality pregnancy and birthing options.

It is our belief that peaceful, evidence-based care should not be a privilege for those who can afford it. The kind of care that focuses on the individual person and honors them as a knowing participant in their pregnancy, labor and birth journey is the right of all birthing people.

When a family chooses to birth at a freestanding birth center, they can expect to pay upward of $5,000.  Although the midwifery care at the birth center is generally covered by insurance, the facility fee remains the responsibility of the birthing family.

We are working to make it possible for anyone who is wishing to birth at an accredited free-standing birth center in Arizona to do so. If someone cannot afford to pay the facility fee at the place of their choice, then they can apply to the Willow Wish Gift Program to help make their birth center dream come true.

We are so excited to be hosting three signature events in 2020.  We will be supporting Matthew’s Crossing Food Bank and United Food Bank with a “Christmas in July” Holiday Food Drive on Saturday, July 25, 2020. We will be honoring our local midwives in October 2020 if we are able to gather together…if not we will continue to be creative and find a way to honor them while observing social distancing. And plans are already underway for our Sparkle & Ice VIP Sponsor Event on Friday, January 22, 2021 and the Winter Wish Family Festival on Saturday, January 23, 2021 .

Thank you again for your interest in supporting Willow Wish.  We could not do what we do without supporters like you.
